About StarFile
An independent celebrity reference site, written in our own words from public sources.
StarFile covers well-known people across 20 Tier-1 countries — the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and fourteen Western European and Scandinavian countries — in nine fields: film and television, music, sport, business, influencers, authors, fashion, science and education, and royalty. Phase one is in English.
How profiles are written
Every profile is written from public sources in StarFile's own words. Biographical facts come from reputable published material; nothing is copied from other biography sites, and nothing is invented to fill a gap. Where a fact is not publicly confirmed, the page says so or leaves it out. Personal lives are covered only from what is already public, and private matters — health details, relationships, and anything not already reported by reputable outlets — are not speculated about.
Estimates are labelled
Net worth is never presented as a fact on StarFile. Where a figure is given, the page says it is an estimate, explains what it is based on, and warns that private finances are not public. The same honesty applies to upcoming projects: confirmed items and reported items are kept in separate sections.
No photographs
StarFile uses no celebrity photographs, because it holds no licences for them. Pages use text, tables and CSS-only monograms instead, and no AI-generated portrait of a real person is ever used.
Independence
StarFile is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any person, studio, label or team featured on it. Corrections and suggestions are welcome via the contact page.
