Before Marvel and Maverick, there was a drum kit: the indie band Pullman has played in since 2012.

Pullman is the drummer for Atta Boy, an indie pop-rock band he formed with lead vocalist Eden Brolin in 2012 — years before his feature-film debut. The band is not a celebrity side project bolted onto an acting career; it predates it. Atta Boy's folk-pop sound and Los Angeles indie circuit roots are a separate creative life, and Pullman has kept playing through his busiest acting years.
